I lied we stayed in crystal springs and did not go to the kootenay

Last day at Crystal springs

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were not able to leave for the Ottawa river today and are supposedly "grounded in crystal springs for the weekend." So we had a sweet fire and slept in. And now we are off to the Kootenay river for the weekend. Shhh!

WCKA day one

So the academy has been pretty chill. Today we are doing some orientation and then heading of to do some paddling in Alberton gorge, 2 min from WCKA headquarters. Here's some pictures of the area.

One day

One day until the the next adventure. I have been trying to do posts before this but there has been issues with my computer and I have been unsuccessful so far. I'm heading to World Class Kayak Academy and we are heading to the East coast of Canada and the US, then it's off to Africa! Woo Hoo!
